Inspired by Scandinavian architecture, design and the Danish way of life, Køben combines style and functionality to create sophisticated spaces that provide a sense of comfort and warmth.
Køben at Campbell 5 takes its name from Denmark’s capital, København (Copenhagen), renowned for its relaxed atmosphere, green lifestyle and modern sustainable architecture. Surrounded by open green spaces, Køben is an urban sanctuary offering tranquillity and amenity. Residences were designed to encourage indoor-outdoor living with many offering views of Lake Burley Griffin, Mt. Ainslie or Hassett Park.
Natural light, air and open spaces were influential in the architecture of the building, with clean lines and reflective surfaces creating a smooth, sleek façade. Køben’s interiors have intelligently incorporated natural light, mirrored surfaces and raw materials creating a strong sense of connection to the outdoors. The selection of materials and finishes at Køben was informed by the Danish concept ‘hygge’ (which means cosiness). Many of the apartments feature winter gardens with double-glazed, bi-folding glass shutters, turning balconies into private sanctuaries free from the elements during the cooler months
